Dr. Jennifer Gao has practiced as a registered doctor in Traditional Chinese Medicine in China and Vancouver for over 22 years. She has been an influential TCM educator for 14 years, teaching at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and Tzu Chi International College in Vancouver. Dr. Gao obtained her bachelor's degree from China's Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her areas of focus include digestive, respiratory, gynecological and skin issues, emotional conditions, and pain management. She takes a multi-dimensional approach to diagnosis, believing in the connection between emotional and physical health. Her broad professional knowledge in both clinical practice and in teaching has given her a deservedly solid reputation.

Amy Yiu is a registered dietitian and online nutritionist, professional speaker, and the Founder of Libra Nutrition. She graduated from a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics, UBC. She is the co-author of the Dietitians at Home cookbook and a spokesperson of the Dietitians of Canada National Nutrition Month. She regularly appears in Chinese TV and radio talk shows as a guest expert. Amy has published over 500 nutrition-related articles in multiple magazines and national newspapers and delivered over 100 live and virtual workshops reaching 20,000+ audiences on health, food and nutrition.

Chef (Herbal & Chinese Cuisine)-Jason He


Chef Jason is a well-known chef in China and Vancouver, with extensive experience in herbal gastronomy and Chinese cuisine. A native of Guangdong Province, China, Chef Jason began his career in 1982. He has 40 years of experience working in diverse foodservice settings including hotels, restaurants, bakeries, and hospitals. He co-authored two cookbooks in China and Hong Kong. In 2006, he migrated to Canada. He has worked at famous, authentic Chinese seafood and dim sum restaurants in Metro Vancouver. He shares his culinary skills and knowledge to inspire a great number of chefs. He is a firm believer of using local, seasonal ingredients in Chinese-inspired healthy recipes.
